West of England accountancy firm Bishop Fleming has recruited Stephen Martin as a senior tax manager for its Bath office.
Stephen, pictured, is a chartered accountant with more than a decade of experience in the tax profession.
He joins from top 10 national accountancy firm Moore Stephens’ London office, where he progressed to associate director in the business tax team.
Stephen provides domestic and international tax advice to companies and partnerships in a broad range of sectors including financial services, hotel and leisure, real estate, shipping and manufacturing.
At Bishop Fleming he will enhance the firm’s growing tax team, using his extensive knowledge and experience to provide advice and support to the firm’s clients, and further develop its tax services.
Stephen said: “Bishop Fleming is a highly respected and fast-growing firm with huge ambition and I am delighted to be joining them.”
Bath partner Andrew Sandiford added: “I am pleased to welcome Stephen on board. His skills and experience will bring great benefits to businesses in Bath and the region. In particular, his knowledge of the hotel and leisure sector will further enhance our growing hotels, tourism and leisure team.”
Bath is now one of the fastest-growing and most successful offices among Bishop Fleming’s seven strong branch network. The office’s expansion means it is also now Bath’s largest accountancy practice with four partners and 42 staff. Last year it had its largest ever intake of new trainees.
