West of England accountancy firm Old Mill, which has offices including Melksham and Wells, has raised more than £5,000 for Wiltshire Air Ambulance by hosting an Autumn dinner dance.

More than 100 people attended the black-tie event at Bowood House, near Calne, where they enjoyed a three-course meal, an auction conducted by Chesterton Humberts director Charles Lucas and live music from local band The Shadow Monkeys.

Old Mill financial planner Andrew Tubb, who is based in the Melksham office, said: “Each year we choose a charity and we then hold events throughout the year to raise money for that charity.

“This year, we chose The Wiltshire Air Ambulance because it is such a fantastic local charity and many people at Old Mill know someone who has benefitted from its vital service.

“Old Mill would like to say thank you to everyone who supported the event; we were able to raise in excess of £5,000 which will help ensure Wiltshire Air Ambulance is able to continue to assist those in need of urgent care.”

Old Mill also has offices in Exeter and Yeovil.
