Independent PR and communications consultancy Carnsight Communications has promoted Leigh-Ann Hewer to account manager two years after joining as an intern.
Leigh-Ann, pictured, became an account executive after just six months at the Marshfield-based agency, which works with small and creative businesses. Now, 18 months later, she has been promoted again to account manager.
All Carnsight Communications staff work flexibly, allowing Leigh-Anne to spend her Fridays pursuing her passion of children’s book writing.
She is also coming to the end of a part time MA in Writing for Children at Bath Spa University.
Carnsight Communications was founded in January 2016 by Jessica Morgan, building on her 20 years’ industry experience in London and a strong grounding in media relations.
Since then it has worked with more than 50 clients spanning the health and care, healthtech, creative, recruitment and construction sectors, including user experience firm Armadillo; healthcare marketing and advertising agency Create Health and healthtech firm Axela Innovations.
Jessica said: “We’re very lucky to have Leigh-Ann as part of our team and her promotion is well deserved.
“An intuitive and thoughtful communicator, she brings her writing talent to every project she works on. She quickly grasps all new challenges and is talented at social media, as well as being a valued part of our team.”
Leigh-Ann added: “I’m incredibly grateful for this promotion and look forward to continuing to grow and nurture the relationships that I have built with our fantastic clients and the incredible journalists we work alongside.
“It’s been a pleasure working at Carnsight Communications from day one, and I thoroughly look forward to seeing what the future holds for the business and my wonderful colleagues as we continue to grow.”
To mark its fifth anniversary this year the agency is undertaking a series of five fundraising challenges for charities Target Ovarian Cancer and BHF.
