Fast-growing West of England accountancy firm Bishop Fleming, which has an office in Bath, has added another tax director to the team which holds the title of ‘Best Tax Practice in a Regional Firm’.
The latest recruit is Isobel Savage, previously head of the tax at Old Mill in Exeter. Isobel trained with Big Four firm Ernst & Young, before joining regional practice Old Mill in 2008 where she rapidly progressed to the job of associate director for tax planning as well as leading the tax unit at its Exeter office.
Head of tax at Bishop Fleming, Andrew Browne, said: ““Isobel is a key member of our tax-team. Her strong tax knowledge and experience, coupled with her commercial acumen, enhance Bishop Fleming’s further strategic growth.
“A key element of our rapid growth has been our focus on building an unrivalled team of tax advisors, which includes VAT experts, international tax specialists, corporate and personal tax consultants, and tax partners.”
These were based in all the firm’s offices which span Bath, Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth, Torquay, Truro and Worcester, said Mr Browne.
Bishop Fleming won the Best Tax Practice in a Regional Firm award from LexisNexis, the business research group.
The firm has also been the UK’s fastest-growing Top 40 accountancy firm for two years running, has won accolades as one of the four best accountancy employers and was the first UK accountancy firm to gain Investors in People accreditation.
