Bath Future Talent Programme, the city’s unique leadership development scheme, ends its eighth annual programme today with a celebratory event and a look ahead to exploring challenges for 2025.
The world-class programme is staged by Bath Bridge, the community interest company that brings together a wide range of knowledge, skills and experience to boost the city as a place with a dynamic and inventive future.
Each year the programme hosts between 12 and 20 leaders and aspiring leaders from all sectors in Bath & North-East Somerset.
During four, three-day modules, they benefit from one-to-one coaching and mentoring while also participating in a social community project focused around Bath Bridge’s work on addressing the digital divide in the local community.
Aspiring leaders taking part in the programme in recent years have come from Bath Rugby, Mayden, Altran, Bath Spa University, Off the Record, National Trust, St Johns Foundation, Boston Tea Party and the city’s Clinical Commissioning Group among others.
Last year Bath Bridge and Bath Unlimited, the organisation that celebrates the city’s most dynamic, successful, world-class companies and their talented employees, joined forces to design and run a series of quarterly leadership events.
The next one scheduled for 21 January and will look at the new year’s leadership challenges. Today’s Bath Future Talent Programme celebratory event is sponsored by Bath Unlimited.
