Bath firms are to get the opportunity to have their say the city’s future as a vibrant and innovative hub for business at a major event later this year.
The Bath Business Conference, which is being staged by the Bath Business Improvement District (BID) on 20 September, is designed to bring businesses together to generate ideas, momentum and to start conversations.
The BID is urging Bath businesses to attend and contribute their business brilliance and creative ideas for the future of the city.
The morning event, held at global engineering consultancy Buro Happold’s Bath headquarters, will include a series of interactive panel discussions and stakeholder engagement opportunities as well as a breakout area for networking.
The four panel discussions, which will take place at 9:30am and 11:15am – with two running simultaneously at each session – will explore the State of the City or Skills and Employment, and Developing the Destination or Net Zero.
Tickets to the conference are free for all businesses and will include refreshments and a casual networking lunch.
There will also be a ticketed breakfast with a keynote speaker on the same day starting at 7:30am and at close of the conference at 2pm delegates will be able to take a tour of Bath’s new South Quays business district.
The BID is being supported in staging the conference by Bath & North East Somerset Council, The Bath Initiative, Visit West, Bath Unlimited, St John’s Foundation and Buro Happold.
