Bath Business Expo – one of the largest general business exhibitions and networking opportunities in the region - returns next month, bringing a range of seminars, workshops and networking opportunities to the city.
The event, on March 16, will build on the success of last year's sold-out event, which hosted 102 exhibitors, and more than 550 visitors.
Businesses of all sizes from Somerset, Wiltshire and Bristol, as well as Bath ,are expected to attend for a day full of opportunities.
A small number of stands are still available for the event, which again takes place at the Assembly Rooms. There will also be a programme of free business seminars by experts to inspire attendees while business support organisations will be on hand to offer advice. Other attractions include speed networking and a networking café.
One of the seminars likely to be very popular is called ‘Supporting Scale-up Businesses’.
West of England scale-up enabler Briony Phillips will provide an overview of the challenges faced by fast-growth companies – from availability of office space to access to finance.
She will give an outline of some of the resources and initiatives that exist to support business growth.
Scale-up founders, or those responsible for developing strategy and support for fast-growth businesses, will leave this session with insights, information and potential opportunities for collaboration.
The seminar takes place from 12.15pm to 12.45pm
