Bath-on-Ice to transform city’s mini golf course into light entertainment

The UK’s first outdoor glow-in-the-dark mini golf course is to open in Bath in the run-up to Christmas. When the sun goes down the Victoria Falls 18-hole course in Royal Victoria Park will be transformed with glowing balls, colourful fairy-lit holes and fog machines throwing mist across the lake.

Set against a backdrop of the Royal Crescent and situated next to the Bath-on-Ice festive ice rink, organisers say the unique attraction will add to Bath’s already vibrant pre-Christmas activities.

The glow-in-the-dark crazy golf attraction is the brainchild of Bath-on-Ice director and local businessman Simon Smith. He said: “We have designed a beautiful array of themed lighting to bring Bath’s famous mini golf course alive with colour at night. We are excited to offer a fun night-time activity for family and friends to enjoy.”

The course will be open daily from 4.30pm to 9pm (except Christmas Day) from next Friday, November 20, until January 3.

Prices start from £5.50 per person (£4.50 for childre). Booking is necessary for groups of 10 or more people. For more information, visit http://www.bathonice.com/glow-in-the-dark-mini-golf/
