Bath-based wealth management company Novia has relinquished its role as Bath Rugby’s main partner but will become an official partner and continue to have a “heavy involvement” with the club.
Novia has been involved with the club since 2011 and among its roles has provided work experience for players and raised more than £100,000 for Bath Rugby Foundation. As main partner Novia’s logo has appeared on the playing shirts, training wear and throughout the Rec, with the East Stand re-named the Novia Stand.
Novia said it will continue to support the club across the board, including its third annual charity cricket match on July 16, the club said in a statement.
Bath business development director Matt Powell said: “We have enjoyed a hugely-successful partnership with Novia over the last three years, and they have put a huge amount into supporting the club. We are very much looking forward to continuing the relationship, and know they will continue to be a great partner for us.”
Novia head of corporate communications Pippa Russell added: “All of us at Novia have thoroughly enjoyed building a very strong partnership with Bath Rugby, and I’m sure we will develop it further over the next season.
“We are also keen to extend our backing of the club, and particularly Bath Rugby Foundation. You can see the club are building well for future success, and we are excited about being associated with them as they get back to the higher echelons of the rugby world.”
Bath Rugby said an announcement regarding its new main partner will be made “in due course”.
