Bath business leaders are invited to put their questions to a panel of experts at an Economic Question Time led by highly-acclaimed economist and public speaker Mark Berrisford-Smith.
The breakfast event, hosted by Bath law firm Royds Withy King, HSBC Bank and accountants Bishop Fleming, is taking place at Bath Racecourse on June 7 and will feature an entertaining and highly informative talk by Mr Berrisford-Smith, head of economics at UK Commercial Banking at HSBC.
This will be followed by a lively discussion centred on economic issues affecting Bath based on questions from the floor and with input from a panel of local business chiefs.
On the panel will be the CEO of Bath-based financial advice firm Fidelius Jim Grant, Dan Fallon, managing director of Bath digital media agency SearchStar, Louise Prynne, chief executive of the Bath Business Improvement District (BID), Ian Taylor, owner of Bath’s Abbey Hotel and No15, and Bath Business News editor Robert Buckland.
The event will be chaired by Royds Withy King partner Chris Kane, pictured. He said: “We look forward to welcoming the Bath business community to our annual Economic Question Time, which is one of our most popular events and always provides plenty of food for thought.
“The timing of this year’s event could make the discussions even more interesting as it falls the day before the General Election.”
