A range of Bath firms have teamed up to stage the city’s first investment management conference to promote the sector and provide expert advice for investors.
The inaugural Bath Investment Management Conference, which takes place at Assembly Rooms on Friday January 22, will also provide a unique networking forum for city-based industry figures and investors.
It will be opened by Bath MP Ben Howlett, pictured, who said: “Bath has a really strong investment sector, and I would really recommend local investors coming along to see the showcase of some of the great firms based in the city.”
The conference will feature presentations and discussion on a range of investment topics including economics, geopolitical issues, asset allocation, equities, fixed income and property.
The invitation-only event is sponsored and supported by a Bath companies including lawyers Stone King, financial services technology firm Ascentric, Bath Building Society, Chelverton Asset Management, specialist bank and asset management group Investec, wealth management company Novia, property agents Savills, management consultants Verisk Maplecroft and Woodhill Asset Management.
