The Francis Hotel, in Bath’s Queen Square, has been restored to its former glory following a £6m refurbishment by owners Accor.
The 98-room Regency townhouse hotel will reopen on May 28. It form’s part of Accor’s upmarket MGallery portfolio of luxury hotels across the world.
Under the upgrade the hotel’s bedrooms have been individually styled and many now have four poster beds. The bar and lounge have also been refurbished while a new Brasserie Blanc will open adjoining the hotel.
Francis manager Karen Bassett said MGallery hotels were renowned for their quality, unique attention to detail and stand-out memorable features. The refit was returning the hotel to the impeccable standard of its heyday.
