Unique Venues of Bath, the consortium reflecting the city’s vibrant culture and heritage, has launched a series of events to promote themselves to local businesses.
Theatre Royal Bath, Thermae Bath Spa, Bath Rugby, Bath Racecourse and Bath’s historic buildings can provide special settings for business meetings and client entertaining. But many businesses are unaware of the breadth of their offering and the special brand of hospitality they can provide.
The first in the series of business networking events was held at the Theatre Royal Bath, pictured, offering the chance for businesses in the region to come together and experience one of the unique venues on their doorstep.
Drinks and canapés were provided by Lindley’s catering team while 40 business people networked with representatives from different venues. Among businesses attending were Bath Audi, Altran Praxis and Zenith International.
Anji Henderson from the Theatre Royal Bath said: “This series of planned events are an integral part of the Unique Venues of Bath approach to raise the profile of the amazing venues we have.
“Working together has proved to be a real success and the feedback we have had has been full of enthusiasm for all of the venues, which can offer stunning facilities for hospitality.”
She said businesses were not always aware of the unusual spaces that can be privately hired, such as the Theatre Royal Bath’s smaller auditoria and its 1805 suite.
