Business West, the organisation behind Bath Chamber of Commerce, has been named as one of the UK’s best employers for the second consecutive year.
Business West, which employs around 200 people at its offices at Leigh Court, near Bristol, and in Swindon, appears in the latest annual Sunday Times 100 Best Not for Profit Companies to Work For list.
It will find out where it ranks in the list at an awards dinner in London on February 24.
Business West is the region’s largest business membership organisation and the UK’s largest chamber of commerce. It works with more than 18,000 firms, providing a range of advice and support services from starting and growing a business to how to export, as well as lobbying to make Bristol and the West of England a better place to live and work.
Managing director Phil Smith said: “Being named in this prestigious list two years in a row is a great honour and testament to the culture of the company and the people who work at Business West.
“As the chamber of commerce and the voice of business for such a large area, we are delighted to be recognised for our levels of employee engagement and satisfaction.”
