The payroll services team at regional accountancy firm Bishop Fleming, which has an office in Bath, has been awarded the highest possible mark in its recent assessment under a major national scheme.
The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals’ (CIPP) Payroll Assurance Scheme, the professional body for the payroll industry, introduced its Payroll Assurance Scheme (PAS) to demonstrate that the payroll and associated processes within a firm are fit for purpose and comply with government legislation.
They also gauge whether appropriate controls have been set up to eliminate payroll errors, and suitable processes are in place for preparing for legislative and organisational changes, along with policies, processes and procedures relating to the development of its payroll staff.
Bishop Fleming Payroll Services first obtained the PAS accreditation in January 2015 and has now been successfully re-accredited for the next two years.
Head of Bishop Fleming Payroll Services Will Hanbury, pictured, said: “We are delighted to have been re-accredited under the CIPP Payroll Assurance Scheme, the gold standard for the industry.
“The fact we scored the highest possible mark is a reflection of the hard work that our payroll team put in to make sure that our clients are serviced in the most accurate and efficient way. The PAS kitemark is formal acknowledgement of the high-quality payroll processing Bishop Fleming carries out which our clients can really trust.”
Bishop Fleming’s Bath office is one of seven across the South West and Midlands.
