Bath area firms are being invited along the M4 to Swindon next Thursday to attend the town's latest Business Show, staged by Business West.
They will get the opportunity to hear from inspirational keynote speaker Monty Halls, find out how they can recruit and retain staff using social media, discover how they can use research and psychology with their website to grow their business and much more.
A number of Bath and West Wiltshire firms have attended the show in previous years – offering them the change to showcase their business to thousands of visitors from along the M4 corridor.
This year’s inspirational keynote speech by Monty Halls, pictured, is aimed at anyone coping with the day-to-day demands of running a business. Famous for his much-acclaimed BBC2 Great Escape series, the intrepid expedition leader has been leading teams in some of the most demanding environments on earth for more than 20 years.
The seminar titled How we decide: a quick tour of website psychology, will be delivered by Ben Simmonds from cxpartners, a consultancy applying research and psychology to website design. This informative and insightful seminar will discuss aspects of customer decision-making psychology and what this means for a business’s customers and their website.
He will look at practical examples as well as the theories that underpin them, giving valuable tips and advice to take away and apply to their business.
In his seminar, titled Appeal, Reputation and Success, award-winning recruiter and employer branding extraordinaire Mark Bevans will offer a modern, easy-to-use approach to find, attract and retain quality, happy staff. Mark will illustrate how to manage social media in relation to recruitment, as well as providing cost effective tips for business owners to take away on the day.
Meanwhile, there are still a few exhibition stands available with prices starting from £350 + VAT.
New for this year is the Click and Connect Lounge, where delegates can talk to digital experts, relax, network, blog, tweet, hold informal meetings and charge devices – all over a complimentary drink.
Visitors will also get the chance to talk to specialist business growth experts who will be able to advise on the support available in the region to help and grow their business.
