Business West is staging a free, two-day workshop next month for high-growth businesses in the Bath area.
The event is aimed at entrepreneurs with the aspiration to grow their business to achieve a turnover of £500,000 or more within the first three years of trading.
The workshop, on February 7 and 14, will provide the information and the tools needed to start and run a successful high-growth business – from the idea stage to the first 12 months of trading.
The workshop content will include:
• The fundamentals of running a business
• Understanding growth businesses and growth markets
• Critical success factors for the business
• Financing the business
• Innovation
• Building effective teams
• Business Planning
• Exit strategies
• Specialist guest speakers
Key outcomes will be:
• An understanding of the challenges of starting and running a high-
growth business
• The tools to develop a strategic business plan
• Find out about further support for a high-growth business
Both days are staged at Bath Racecourse, Lansdown, Bath, BA1 9BU between 9am and 3pm and will include a networking lunch. Delegates will be given access to an electronic toolkit and there will also be opportunities to apply for further support from a high-growth business coach.
