Property specialist Carter Jonas appointed chartered building surveyor Tom Lowe to its team in Bath – reuniting him with former colleague Martin Walker who joined the firm last month.
Both previously worked for rival Jones Lang LaSalle (now JLL), which closed its Bath office last year.
Tom, pictured, a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, is experienced in providing advice for clients including acquisitions, conservation, dilapidations, and technical due diligence.
He has worked on a number of projects in the Bath, including renewal of the former Habitat shop front in New Bond Street, soon to be occupied by upmarket fashion and homeware chain Anthropologie.
He worked with Martin on behalf of Wiltshire Council delivering refurbishment projects for the former North and West Wiltshire district councils’ leisure centres in Bradford on Avon, Trowbridge, Melksham, Westbury, Warminster and Chippenham.
Tom’s arrival also reunites him with former director JLL colleague Mike McElhinney, who moved to Carter Jonas last October shortly after JLL closed its Bath office.
Head of the Carter Jonas Bath office Philip Marshall said: “Tom and Martin’s work will complement that of our commercial and valuations departments and further strengthens our position as the only national consultancy in Bath offering a full service across all aspects of the property market.”
