Radstock-based print and mail company CFH has acquired the shares and assets of Print For Business (PFB), a £4.5m turnover print and mail business based in Slough.
The acquisition is CFH’s second in the past 12 months. A year it took over FST Technologies, a print and mail business based in Livingston and East Kilbride, Scotland. FST is now fully integrated into the group. CFH said it continues to seek further acquisition of transactional mail companies in other areas of the UK.
Established in 1992 and employing 33 staff, PFB has made a name for itself providing document solutions to a wide array of market sectors. PFB managing director Paul Foley will oversee the integration of the business into CFH and will continue with the firm in a sales capacity. PFB will remain the trading name of the Slough business.
CFH managing director Dave Broadway said: “There is good synergy between our businesses and I am looking forward to exploring the benefits that CFH can bring to the clients of PFB and vice versa. PFB provides additional volume in terms of transactional mailing in both public and private sectors, as well as other strategic document mailings including electoral work, which is a growth area for CFH.”
Paul Foley of PFB said: “Over the past 20 years PFB has established a reputation for its quality of service and breadth of offering. We are now looking forward to this new phase of development with CFH, which will create new and exciting opportunities for our business.”
CFH is a £25m print and mail business, employing 200 staff in Radstock and 24 in Livingston. It uses innovation to lower the cost of printing and delivering documents for its 10,000-plus small and large business customers.
Earlier this year it won a contract from the Royal Mail to supply its Docmail system, a market-leading hybrid mail service.
