Children’s Hospice South West is teaming up with independent glass production company Bath Aqua Glass to launch a new bauble at a special fundraising event next week.
Called Precious Glass for Precious Lives, the charity evening will also feature an auction of the first CHSW glass bauble live as well as a raffle of stunning prizes.
The event, on Thursday, 23 June, from 7pm at Bath Aqua Glass’s Theatre of Glass on Walcot Street, will also include drinks and grazing as well as a glassblowing demonstration.
Children’s Hospice South West needs around £11m a year to run its three hospices – including Charlton Farm hospice at Wraxall, near Bristol, which serves the Bath area by providing vital care for children with life-limiting conditions and support for their families.
Around 85% of its income is raised through voluntary donations.
Tickets for Precious Glass for Precious Lives cost £15 each including a drink on arrival and food.
