The Bath office of Chase de Vere, the national independent financial advice firm, has taken on a specialist consultant to work exclusively with medical professionals in the area.
Megg Irvine, pictured, is one of a team of seven business development professionals recruited by Chase de Vere across the country. 
They will work in hospitals and GP practices around the UK, developing relationships and providing tailored briefings and seminars.
They will operate hand-in-hand with Chase de Vere’s independent financial advisers.
Megg joins from Wesleyan, where she had worked since 2013 – initially working with medical students and then as a brand ambassador in the South West.
In 2015 she won Wesleyan’s Elite Award for her achievements working alongside medical practitioners.
Megg and her fellow consultants will be managed at Chase de Vere by Caroline Waters, who also joined from Wesleyan, where she was head of field marketing and managed the business development consultant team working with medical professionals.
Chase de Vere has been offering a specialist independent financial advisory service to the medical profession in partnership with the British Medical Association (BMA) since September 2005.
It is the only financial adviser firm recommended by the BMA and has provided advice to more than 11,000 of its members.
It has a specialist team of 60 advisers working exclusively with BMA members. They are equipped to provide expert financial advice as they have a deep understanding of the medical profession, their career paths and the NHS Pension Scheme.
