Rachel Sartin, an Independent Financial Adviser with Chase de Vere based in Bath, has been named as one of the UK’s top women financial advisers.
Rachel, pictured, who joined the national independent financial advice firm as a trainee financial adviser in 2005, won the South West regional category at the Women in Financial Advice Awards 2020.
Rachel, a qualified Chartered Financial Planner, specialises in providing advice to the medical sector.
She is an expert on pensions, including the various NHS pension schemes, and retirement and estate planning.
She has also developed expertise in ethical and ESG (environmental, social and governance) investments.
She has mentored several colleagues at work – helping them develop their skills -sponsored numerous work experience candidates and conducted financial training to Chase de Vere’s administration team in Bath.
She is also planning to provide financial education presentations and workshops in local schools.

Chase de Vere firm, which is backed by Swiss Life – one of Europe’s leading life assurance companies – has 16 offices across the UK, including Bath.
Two years ago it launched Chase de Vere Medical, a service focused on providing independent financial advice to the medical profession. It has also worked in partnership with the British Medical Association (BMA) since 2005 and given advice to 12,000 BMA members.
The Women in Financial Advice Awards, which this year were staged virtually, are open to those working in both the financial advice community and among the broader financial services sector in the UK.
Nominees can be involved in roles relating to UK-based financial advice, adviser support services, platform provision, investment, retirement, protection and mortgage.
