Rachel Sartin, an Independent Financial Adviser with Chase de Vere based in Bath, has triumped in a major financial services awards scheme for the second time.
Rachel, pictured, has been named Financial Adviser of the Year for the South West at the Women in Financial Advice Awards 2022, having previously scooped the title in 2020.
She was also a finalist in the Woman of the Year for ESG Advice category, demonstrating her expertise in ESG (environmental, social and governance) and ethical investing.
Rachel joined the national independent financial advice firm as a trainee financial adviser in 2005.
Since then she has qualified as a Chartered Financial Planner and now specialises in providing advice to the medical sector. She is an expert on pensions, including the various NHS Pension Schemes, and retirement and estate planning.
She has also mentored several colleagues at work, helping them to develop their skills, sponsored numerous work experience candidates and conducted financial training for Chase de Vere’s administration team in Bath.
Chase de Vere chief executive officer Kathleen Gallagher said: “I am delighted that Rachel has won this award for the second time.
“She provides exceptional independent financial advice and service for her clients and is incredibly supportive in helping to mentor and develop her work colleagues.”
Chase de Vere firm, which is backed by Swiss Life – one of Europe’s leading life assurance companies – has 16 offices across the UK, including Bath.
Four years ago it launched Chase de Vere Medical, a service focused on providing independent financial advice to the medical profession.
It has also worked in partnership with the British Medical Association (BMA) since 2005 and given advice to thousands of BMA members.
The Women in Financial Advice Awards are open to those working in both the financial advice community and among the broader financial services sector in the UK.
Nominees can be involved in roles relating to UK-based financial advice, adviser support services, platform provision, investment, retirement, protection and mortgage.
