West accountancy firm Bishop Fleming, which has an office in Bath, has become the region’s first to secure the Investors in Clients accreditation.
Independent assessment by the Investors in Clients organisation gave the firm a score of more than 8 out of 10 – described as “an outstanding first assessment, putting the firm in the top quartile of all IIC ratings and demonstrating a strongly client centric business”.
That assessment process involved responses from more than 400 clients alongside input from the firm’s staff and managers.
Bishop Fleming was already the first UK accountancy firm to win Investors in People accreditation, and is also the country’s fastest-growing Top 50 accountancy practice. The firm also won the recent national award as the best regional tax practice.
Bishop Fleming managing partner Matthew Lee said: “We are immensely proud of these accolades, which underline our commitment to providing the very best client service by providing the best environment for the best people.
“There is a direct link between our pioneering of the Investors in People award and our new Investors in Clients award: by attracting and developing the best people, we can deliver the best client service.”
Bishop Fleming has offices in Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth, Torquay, Truro, and Worcester as well as Bath. It moved into Bath having bought parts of rival firm Target out of administration in December 2011.
