Bath-based housing and support organisation Curo’s gas team has been named Contractor of the Year for the South West at the national Gas Safety Awards.
The 18-strong team is responsible for servicing and maintaining gas appliances in 8,823 Curo homes across the South West and for ensuring every one of these properties is safe by carrying out regular gas safety checks.
Curo gas safety manager Dean Roberts said: “Winning this award is fantastic news. Every single member of our team is passionate about their work and always looking to put the customer first. We are proud of our high levels of customer satisfaction and our 100% gas safety compliance across all our properties.”
The annual Gas Safety Awards, which were staged in Oxfordshire, are run by the Association of Gas Safety Managers with CORGI Technical Services. Curo won the Social Housing Contractor of the Year Award for the South West region.
The accolade came after, Curo, which manages 12,000 homes across the West of England, won a prestigious national award last month for its work in preventing domestic abuse.
