Bath-based brand and design agency Mytton Williams has won two awards for its work with the West of England Design Forum (WEDF), the voice of the design industry in the region and a network for creatives.
The company won the Branding award in the regional Media Innovation Awards (MIA) and a bronze at the Cream Midlands Awards.
Judges at the MIA, which celebrate the most innovative use of media and design, and promote the cream of the creative industries across the South West, described the WEDF brand as a “well thought-out and practical solution that was effectively implemented across multiple platforms”.
Mytton Williams collected the award at the 2012 gala dinner held recently at the BBC Studios at Bristol’s Paintworks to coincide with the Vision conference.
The agency collected the Cream award for a promotional poster for a talk by graphic designer Morag Myerscough at Bristol’s Arnolfini Gallery – part of the same brand work for WEDF.
WEDF’s brief was for a rebrand to help increase membership by 30%.
Mytton Williams creative director Bob Mytton said: “It was a dream opportunity – a creative brief from a creative client that resulted in some exciting collaborations.”
