The construction law practice at Bath-headquartered national law firm Stone King has been expanded with the arrival of partner Sean Randall Morris and paralegal Grace Souter.
Both have joined from Bath-headquartered RWK Goodman, where Sean, pictured, worked for just under a year as a partner in its dispute resolution team and Grace for 11 months as a paralegal.
Sean is an award-winning advocate and arbitrator with extensive experience in the construction and infrastructure sectors, handling contentious and non-contentious legal matters, and drawing on his background as a civil engineering surveyor and chartered surveyor.
He specialises in alternative dispute resolution and has broad experience in the public and private sector. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Prior to working at RWK Goodman (formerly Royds Withy King) he spent nearly three years at Bristol firm Davies & Partners, where Grace also worked.
Stone King partner and head of its dispute and resolution team, Tony Pidgeon, said: “Sean has a great wealth of knowledge and legal experience in the construction sector and we’re excited for him to increase and further strengthen our offering to clients in this area of law.
“We’re also very pleased to welcome Grace, who will continue to work alongside Sean and support the growth of our construction group.”
Sean added: “I have had the good fortune to support a great variety of clients including developers, contractors and consultants on some very complex and technical legal issues and look forward to bringing this experience to Stone King and working alongside my new colleagues at the firm.”
Stone King, which employs more than 230 people across its offices in Bath, Bristol, Birmingham, Cambridge, Leeds and London, is a national leader in the charity, faith and education sectors.
It was recently included in the latest Best Companies To Work For UK rankings in recognition of its workplace engagement policies.
