Serial entrepreneur and former BBC2 Dragons’ Den panellist Doug Richard is among the speakers at a free-to-attend business advice event later this month.
'Save Money, Make Money’ promises to help business owners tackle inefficiencies and boost their profitability and is aimed at fast-growing companies with a focus on the West’s creative industries.
It is organised by Make It Cheaper, a London-based organisation whose free service has to date helped more than 3,500 businesses in the Bristol area alone save money by switching suppliers for their energy, telecoms and insurance.
Make It Cheaper is working in conjunction with Business West, Bristol City Council, Bristol Media and Sift Media on the event’s programme to combine money-saving advice with inspirational speakers and networking opportunities. The event takes place at the Paintworks in Bristol,
For example, local business heroes are being invited to join a panel session for an open and friendly discussion with Doug Richard to bring to life some of the challenges they face.
Doug said: “Entrepreneurs don’t normally have a balanced view of running a business. They’re obsessed with generating revenue and don’t pay nearly enough attention to cost-control. If that sounds like you then get along to this event as I can guarantee you’ll take away something worthwhile.”
‘Save Money, Make Money’ is on June 28 from 4pm to 7pm. To register for free tickets visit www.makeitcheaper.com/about-us/events.aspx
