Bath-headquartered law firm Stone King has made 11 promotions ranging from partner to associate and legal executive across its specialist sectors of business, charity, education and private client law.
The new partner is Rebecca Eels, pictured, a Bath-based lawyer in the family & mediation team. The four new senior associates are Josh Gilbert (business property), Jo Lake (information law) and Kara Williams (commercial property) – all based in Bath – and London-based Sophie Pughe, (charity & social enterprise), from the firm’s London office.
Spyros Maravegias, also based in London, has been promoted to senior HR consultant.
In the education team Elizabeth Fortin and Lucy Blackwell are now associate solicitors, as are James Barratt (employment) and Raquel Ugalde (international and cross-border). All four are based in Stone King’s Bath head office.
Finally, Cambridge-based immigration team member Julianna Barker has been promoted to become a chartered legal executive.
Stone King chair Alison Allen said: “We are delighted to recognise the excellence of our people with these promotions; we are impressed by our people who continue to go the extra mile for our clients, keeping them at the heart of what we do.”
Stone King, which has had an office in Bath since 1785, also has bases in Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds and London.
