Leading during uncertain times is to be the focus of the next leadership development event to be staged by Unlimited Potential, the Bath networking group for young professionals.
Taking place in the University of Bath School of Management on 24 September, the event will hear from Graham Abbey, CEO of Farleigh Performance, the leadership coaching arm of Bath Rugby.
During his 30-year career, Graham, who is also Professor in Practice at University of Bristol Business School, has held executive positions in HR, been one of the first chief purpose officers, led consultancy practices, set-up a university executive education department.
At a time when leaders are having to navigate increasingly complex challenges, he will explore how to lead and set clear direction when all around is unclear and ever more uncertain.
The event, which will run from 5:30pm-8pm, is the fourth in a series aimed at developing the leadership skills of Bath by building greater insights and sharing experiences and reflections on leadership, specifically how to lead more consciously.
The event is supported by Bath Bridge’s Future Talent Network.
Unlimited Potential was formed by Bath Unlimited, the organisation that celebrates the city’s world-class companies and their talented employees.
Those attending will be able to collect Bath Unlimited’s top tips cards, which have practical actions that can be taken on improving resilience and ‘quiet leadership’.
