Specialist construction consulting firm Voloco has grown its offering in the East of England by taking on a new commercial consultant in its Cambridgeshire office.
The firm was launched in Marshfield in 2014 to provide services to construction and development companies during peak workloads.
It opened its second base in St Ives nearly three years ago.
Now it has recruited Adrian Green as it seeks to expand further in the region.
Adrian has more than 30 years’ experience of measurement, procurement, contract management and dispute resolution in residential, restoration and pharmaceutical sectors.
He previously worked in a variety of roles at City and Country Group and Larkfleet Homes.
Adrian’s arrival comes shortly after Andrea Morgan joined Voloco as a partner and design & sustainability consultant.
Andrea was previously head of sustainability at engineering and environmental professional services consultancy WSP.
Voloco said with sustainability an increased industry focus, Andrea’s arrival means it could now draw on her specialism, honed over three decades, to offer support to contractors, subcontractors and developers, ensuring compliance with regulatory and project requirements.
Key services include carbon baselining and accounting, supporting pathways to net zero and carbon literacy training.
The latest appointments mean Voloco, which works with a range of construction and development clients, including ISG, Integral, Vistry and Novus, now boasts a 12-strong team.
Strong growth over the past year means it is now targeting a turnover of £1m in 2024.
Voloco founder and CEO Ben Webb said: “I’m really pleased to welcome two new, experienced partners to the VOLOCO team.
“Adrian joins to provide us with further support in the East of England at a key time, while Andrea’s sustainability expertise will be invaluable across all our projects. I’m pleased to end the year on such a positive note, after steady and consistent growth throughout 2023.”
