Bath-based Epoch Wealth Management has appointed experienced financial services compliance specialist Belinda Cusmans as part of its latest recruitment drive.
Belinda, pictured, who joins from Wiltshire Financial Management, will help strengthen Epoch’s in-house compliance team and complement its external compliance functions. She will work closely with the firm’s head of technical planning and compliance Duncan Watson.
Belinda takes up her new post as Epoch moves into larger premises at The Tramshed, off Bath’s Walcot Street, and launches a recruitment drive for experienced financial advisers as a result of growing demand for its portfolio management services for individuals and the specialist investment and tax planning advice it offers to organisations.
Partner Dr Markas Gilmartin said: “We are pleased to welcome Belinda to our team at such an exciting time for the business.
“She will play a crucial role in our planned move from an advisory to a full discretionary management model, which will see us taking full responsibility for our clients’ investment decisions. Belinda will also help support our in-house training programme as we grow our adviser base.”
