Bath legal and financial planning firm Mogers Drewett has strengthened its dispute resolution team with the appointment of experienced commercial lawyer Jake Stacey as partner.
Jake, pictured, was previously an associate solicitor for just over two-and-a-half years in the firm’s disputes team before leaving in 2019.
He has nearly 20 years’ experience in commercial disputes and litigation, specialising in construction industry disputes.
He rejoins Mogers Drewett, which also has offices in Sherborne, Wells and Frome, from Bath-based engineering company Buro Happold, where he was an in-house lawyer advising on contract disputes.
Prior to that he held senior associate positions at both Bevan Brittan in Bristol and at Royds Withy King (now RWK Goodman) in Bath.
Mogers Drewett disputes team head John Osman said: “Jake has a great deal of experience and specialist knowledge, especially dealing with construction disputes, so we are delighted to welcome him back to the firm.
“His return strengthens our existing team of corporate and construction solicitors, and further enhances the specialist legal advice that we offer to our commercial clients.”
Mogers Drewett employs nearly 100 people across its four offices, providing a full range of legal services for businesses and individuals.
