Regional law firm Goughs Solicitors has boosted its residential property team with the appointment of Elmira Moore as a senior associate.
Elmira, pictured, has joined Goughs’ Chippenham office from South Wales law firm Twomlows Solicitors and Advocates, where she has spent the past year as its head of conveyancing.
Prior to that she worked as a licensed conveyancer in the Bristol office of international legal practice Osborne Clarke and the Bath office of law firm Thrings.
Goughs, which has seven offices across Wiltshire, said its residential property department had gone from strength to strength over recent years, having adapted to the challenges brought to the housing market by Covid-19 with “resilience and flexibility”.
This was reflected in feedback from clients, peers and others working within the property sector, the firm added, and came as the market in the area continued to expand.
Elmira said: “I am delighted to be joining such a successful and forward-thinking residential property team with values that are close to my heart.
“As an ambitious individual, I am excited to get stuck into a role in which I can develop and grow.
“It’s an exciting time for the property market, which is looking to boom in 2024, so I couldn’t be more thrilled to have joined Goughs at this time.”
Goughs head of residential property Lesley Warren added: “We’re very pleased to have Elmira join us.
“Her expertise, energy and drive to deliver exceptional service to her clients is what we’re all about at Goughs.
“I know she’ll be a key part of the team as we look to continue delivering excellence to our clients.”
Established in 1882, Goughs employs more than 100 people providing legal services for both individuals and businesses including divorce & separation, arrangements for children, employment, wills, trusts & probate, commercial & residential property services and real estate & corporate services.
