Alliance Pharma, the Chippenham-based speciality pharmaceutical company, has started the search for a new finance director following the announcement that Richard Wright, who has been in the role for nearly eight years, is to leave.
Mr Wright, pictured, who will remain at the highly-acquisitive company until May 31, is to pursue other interests, the company said in a statement to the London Stock Exchange. It added that a search process for a new finance director has begun. 
Alliance Pharma chief executive John Dawson said: “I have enjoyed working with Richard and warmly thank him for the very significant contribution he has made to Alliance’s development over these past several years.”
Alliance buys underperforming drugs brands and realises their potential through investment. It has a £20m Revolving Credit Facility, which it uses to make acquisitions.
