Regional law firm Royds Withy King has appointed Tim Gofton to its Bath-based employment team as a senior associate.
Tim, pictured, is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and has joined Royds Withy King from BPE Solicitors in Cheltenham, where he spent five years as a partner. He also previously worked for Richard Slade and Company in Bristol as a senior employment lawyer.
His move to Royds Withy King brings him back to Bath, where he spent five-and-a-half years as an associate at Mogers (now Mogers Drewett), where he set up its employment law department.
He specialises in providing advice and support to HR teams and business owners, particularly in relation to business restructures. His experience ranges from advising facilities management operators on TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment)) and other employment aspects of their businesses to assisting directors embarking on significant change and restructuring programmes.
