AB Dynamics, which supplies innovative test systems to some of the world’s largest vehicle manufacturers, has opened an office in Germany to meet growing demand in the country for driverless car technology.
The new base in Frankfurt am Main, pictured, will provide support to AB Dynamic’s existing customers in Germany and will also enable the firm to offer an enhanced service that supports the country’s position at the forefront of driverless car development.
Bradford on Avon-based AB Dynamics is already a major supplier to Germany’s automotive sector and, initially, the Frankfurt office will be a hub for processing continental European sales.
Additional product support, engineering and manufacturing capabilities will be added over the next year, supporting the company’s product range of driving robots, kinematics and compliance test machines, its aVDS (advance virtual driver simulator) and ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems) soft crash targets.

“Our new European office will provide significant support to our existing customers and technical partners in the region and help to further expand our list of clients, helping to inspire continued growth in this crucial and increasingly relevant market.
“Demand for our expertise and products has increased in line with the automotive industry’s awareness of the importance of ADAS and self-driving technologies.”
The German office opening follows on from the unveiling of AB Dynamics’ new £9m, 39,000 sq ft, global headquarters in Bradford on Avon

Today the 25 most successful vehicle manufacturers worldwide use AB Dynamics’ driving robots. More than 95% of its products are exported.
