UKTI’s Export Week will feature a nationwide programme of events to inform and encourage small and medium-sized businesses which may be considering exporting as well as those already successfully exporting and wanting to do more.
The Government recently awarded £13m of funding to UKTI to help 10,000 more British firms export. This additional funding for SMEs will include further financial support to travel on overseas trade missions and attend trade shows as well as substantial discounts for use of the Overseas Market Introduction Service (OMIS) – a market research service which helps businesses find contacts overseas and develop relationships in new, fast-growing markets.
