Aspiring Bath entrepreneurs can gain free business advice to help them make their dreams of running their own business a reality at an event next week.
The Starting in Business Workshop on May 9 at the Bath and County Club is being organised by the business growth consultancy Cool Ventures.
It is one of a series of free workshops for start-ups and growing businesses that enrol on the Bath Business Support Programme, which is delivered by Cool Ventures.
The programme provides free intensive one-to-one support to small and medium-sized businesses as well as training on key topics including business planning, finance, marketing and management.
Cool Ventures director Sue Marchant, pictured, said: “This workshop is the starting point for people planning to launch a new venture and forms part of our popular Business Start-up Programme.
“The interactive three-hour session will provide attendees with the information they need to consider when going self-employed or starting a business. It will help them decide whether it’s right for them and what they need to do in order to set up on their own.”
Cool Ventures was founded in 2011 by experienced business coaches Roger Wilkins and Sue Marchant, who is also a qualified management accountant. It also delivers the Swindon and Wiltshire SME Growth Programme.
