The residential property team at regional law firm Goughs Solicitors has been boosted with the arrival of new partner Lesley Warren.
Lesley, pictured, has joined as head of residential property after nearly 11 years at Bristol firm GL Law (formerly Gregg Latchams), where she was director and head of residential property.
Her appointment at Goughs, where she is based in its Chippenham office, comes as its residential property department continues to go from strength to strength.
Head of real estate Andrew Given said the team had adapted well to the challenges that Covid brought to the housing market, showing resilience and flexibility.
This has been greatly rewarded in the fantastic feedback the team continues to receive from clients, peers and others working within the property sector.
“We’re thrilled to have Lesley join us to head our already progressive and successful residential property team.” he said.
“The depth and range of her experience will be invaluable to both clients and the team’s existing specialisms.”
Lesley added: ““I am a strong believer that effective and regular communication is crucial in ensuring client satisfaction.
“I aim to make the entire legal process as stress-free as possible for my clients, ensuring they fully understand the legal advice I provide.”
She said she was also very much looking forward to building on the department’s previous successes and driving it to the next level.
Goughs has seven offices across Wiltshire, including in Trowbridge, Melksham and Corsham as well as Chippenham.
The firm was established in 1882 and today employs around 100 people providing legal services for both individuals and businesses, including divorce & separation, arrangements for children, employment, Wills, Trusts & Probate, commercial & residential property services and real estate & corporate services.
