RTS Group, the Chippenham-based automotive learning and development consultancy, has recruited a quartet of new starters as it continues to grow.
Emma Tozer joins as an HR adviser, Jason Furnell as a project manager, Alex Jones, 22, as an e-solutions developer, and as Sammi Jones as client services team administrator.
Their arrival takes staffing at the group, which specialises in creating and delivering learning and development programmes for automotive manufacturers, to more than 50 staff along with 200 associates around the globe.
The firm was founded in 1989 and counts global automotive giants such as Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Mazda and Nissan among its clients.
Emma, pictured right, has more than a decade experience in HR, having previously worked for a charity, a housing association, a software developer and a book print manufacturer. She said: “I am really enjoying working at RTS. They are a great team and are all very supportive. It’s a growing company and I have spent a lot of time so far working on recruitment.”
After beginning his career in retail, Jason, left, moved to Thames Water as an account manager, followed by a similar role with a vehicle fleet support company. He then moved to what is now the largest IT training company in the UK where he spent 10 years supporting its biggest clients, which include household names such as Barclays and Nestle.
He said: “I was seconded to a project team, and really enjoyed that area of work but having progressed as far as I could, I craved a project role that would challenge me, so was delighted when the role of project manager at RTS was offered to me.” He is project managing for RTS clients including Nissan and Toyota.
In his new role, experienced web developer Alex, right, is supporting IT-based learning and development for clients. He was previously a web designer for the Regional Learning Partnership, overseeing several local authority-based websites in Wales.
Sammi, left, began her career in a call centre, and prior to RTS was an administrator for a large fitness organisation. She said: “The automotive training sector is a big change from the world of fitness, but I am really enjoying it and the team are great.”
RTS managing director Malcolm Miller said: “We’re delighted to welcome Emma, Jason, Alex and Sammi to the team here in Chippenham. Their roles are across many of the departments here at RTS, demonstrating how we are growing and needing more support in all areas.”
RTS is is celebrating 25 years in business this year.
