Estate agency and lettings group Andrews has retained two prestigious awards at a major annual residential property industry event.
The Keynsham-headquartered group landed a raft of awards at the ESTAs last year – the first time it had entered.
The ESTAs are held in high regard by the industry as the winners are chosen purely on the results of a customer service survey completed by tens of thousands of sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants.
This year Andrews again scooped the Gold Award in the hotly contested Large Lettings Agency category as recognised by landlords themselves, while it repeated its success in the same category on the estate agency side by landing the Silver Award.
These two headline awards were accompanied by success in a number of other hotly contested categories – with Andrews branches in Bath helping to add to the trophy haul
The lettings teams at Andrews’ outlets in Balham and Tewskesbury each picked up Gold Awards in a category based on comments from landlords while those in Streatham and Bath Central claimed Silver. Kingsbury and Morden picked up Bronze Awards.
Andrews’ commitment to customer service was also recognised by tenants with its Balham and Bath Central teams each striking Gold while Kingsbury, Streatham and Cheltenham branches all received Silver. Bronze awards were claimed by Bath Bear Flat, Putney, Purley and Tewkesbury.
‘Best in County’ awards for Andrews’ lettings business were also claimed by Bath Central for Somerset, Downend for the Bristol region, Cheltenham and Tewkesbury for Gloucestershire, Witney for Oxfordshire and
On the estate agency side, Kingsbury, Putney and Cowley each picked up Gold awards, while those in Balham, Southfields, Carshalton and Longwell Green claimed Silver and Streatham and Botley both came home with Bronze.
‘Best in County’ awards for the sales’ teams were claimed at Longwell Green for Bristol and Cowley for Oxfordshire.
Andrews’ appointed representative for mortgages, Oxfordshire-based McRobie Adams, also picked up a Silver award for its mortgage advice in the Southern region.
Andrews group chief executive David Westgate said: “When we made the decision a year ago to enter the ESTAs, we did so confident of our ability to provide our customers with honest, reliable and above all, a first-class level of service.
“We consequently claimed many more awards in our first year of entering than we could have ever hoped for.
“The fact, therefore, that so many of our teams have been recognised again this year and our award haul has grown so significantly, is testament to their continued commitment and for that, I am enormously grateful to each and every one of them.”
The awards, which took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, were presided over by Location, Location, Location presenter Phil Spencer.
Andrews was founded in 1946 and today operates from 50 offices throughout the South of England, offering a wide range of services from sales and lettings to financial services, property asset management and new homes.
