Bath’s Roseate Villa hotel has appointed Christiana Kiose as its new manager, marking her return to the venue where she previously worked as food and beverage manager.

The boutique hotel on Henrietta Street offers 21 bedrooms and suites in two converted Victorian houses.

It is part of the Roseate Hotels & Resorts group, an Indian-owned collection of properties across the UK and India.

It was acquired by the group in 2017 from Kaleidoscope Collection, the Bath-based boutique hotel group which currently owns the The Bird, Bath, on Pulteney Road, Dukes Hotel on Great Pulteney Street, and Homewood Hotel & Spa, a 31-bedroom hotel at Freshford and Bishopstrow Hotel & Spa near Warminster.

Roseate, which also has hotels in London, Reading and Edinburgh along with three in India, describes the Roseate Villa as “exuding a feeling of serenity in and around its grounds”

Christiana Kiose, pictured, said: “As hotel manager, my goal is to ensure that each guest has a seamless experience that allows them to connect with the rich history of Bath, while enjoying the modern comforts and exceptional service that The Roseate Villa Bath is known for.

“I look forward to working alongside this talented team to create unforgettable moments for our guests.”

Roseate regional general manager Vicky Punchaye added: “With her extensive background in luxury hospitality, combined with her leadership qualities and dedication to excellence, we are confident Christiana will lead The Roseate Villa Bath to even greater success.

“Her approach to hospitality is a perfect match for our culture and we are excited to have her lead our team in creating a truly exceptional environment for both our guests and staff.”

Christiana previously spent just over three years between 2019 and 2022 at The Roseate Villa Bath as its food and beverage manager before leaving to spend a year as the restaurant and bar manager at Bath’s Francis Hotel.

She then went on to work at the Roseate in Edinburgh before returning to Bath.
