Bath-based change management consultancy Nine Feet Tall has worked with a leading West of England hospice charity to boost its donor engagement, streamline operations and position it for a digital future.
The consultancy was called in by St Peter’s Hospice to transform its digital operations and upgrade its customer relationship management (CRM), so ensuring it can continue to enhance its mission of care while replacing its outdated software.
Operating in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset area, by St Peter’s helps thousands of patients and their families every year, providing support with managing pain, bereavement support and providing relief from symptoms.
By focusing on the physical, psychological, social and spiritual issues that can arise as a result of serious illness, the charity provides unique, tailored support to improve the quality of a person’s life.
St Peter’s director of fundraising and communications Sarah Allen-Gunn, pictured below, praised Nine Feet Tall’s support.
"We appointed Nine Feet Tall for their knowledge and insight across all areas of project and change management,” she said.
“They guided us through a robust and detailed technology selection process before providing project assurance throughout the implementation phase and into go live.
“They were able to provide an independent, expert view on our progress, ensuring we were on track to meet our objectives, and bring their experience from other similar projects to help us identify and mitigate risk.”
She said the new CRM system would revolutionise how St Peter’s managed its supporter data, both from an efficiency perspective and in terms of insight and analytics.
“It will enable us to offer more targeted opportunities for supporters to engage with the hospice, ultimately driving income growth and allowing us to reach more patients, families and carers when they need us most,” she added.
Headquartered in Bath with offices in London and Manchester, Nine Feet Tall is a specialist consultancy that manages complex change projects by harnessing the power of both people and technology.
Nine Feet Tall CEO Esther McMorris, pictured, said charities like St Peter’s Hospice played an invaluable role in local communities, and by improving their systems and processes, they could focus on what they do best – providing specialist care and support to thousands of people across the region.
“Nine Feet Tall is committed to delivering meaningful change, so we are proud of this successful partnership and to be continuing to support the hospice on their transformative journey,” she added.
Following selection of its preferred new system in January, Nine Feet Tall has continued to provide ongoing project assurance to St Peter’s in a partnership that it said showcases the power of collaboration and expert consultancy in enabling charities to meet evolving needs.
Nine Feet Tall supports sectors including retail, housing, construction, manufacturing, legal and financial services, as well as charities and non-profit organisations.
The consultancy was named in this year’s Sunday Times ‘Best Places to Work’ list in recognition of its commitment to wellbeing and health.
