Chartered accountants Monahans have promoted its insolvency and business recovery expert Steve Elliott to partner.
He will head the firm’s thriving insolvency and business recovery team as it enters a new phase of development.
Steve has been with Monahans for 25 years, having trained and qualified with the firm, and has accumulated more than 20 years’ experience in insolvency.
During that time he has developed a strong network of contacts across the whole of Wiltshire, Bath and Somerset and Gloucestershire.
Although he has helped businesses in many industry sectors, he has accumulated a particular expertise in construction, recruitment and retail, and has also helped many individuals in personal insolvency cases.
He said: “This is a very exciting development for me at a time when Monahans are looking to grow this area of the business.
“I see many opportunities for us to enhance our service offering and am looking forward to getting out and meeting as many people as possible over the next few months.”
The firm has offices in Bath, Swindon, Chippenham, Trowbridge and Glastonbury.
