Holman, the international automotive specialist firm, has made a number of senior appointments as it continues to expand its business.
Paul Probert, pictured, has joined the firm, which has its UK headquarters in Chippenham, as operations director, bringing with him extensive experience in the distribution and logistics sectors.
Paul has spent the past 25 years working at fleet management and truck leasing group Ryder.
Also new to the Chippenham-based operations team is head of operations Dominic Hutchinson, who has joined from financial services Novuna, where he was fleet services manager.
He has also worked for Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions in Trowbridge and Bath-based specialist vehicle accident management firm Helphire (now Redde).
Meanwhile, Iain Palmer and Gemma Towers have joined as head of operations and operations manager respectively, based in Holman’s new Birmingham office.
The appointments come as Holman continues to win new business through multiple contract wins.
These include a new seven-year agreement with BT – one of the largest in the industry – under which Holman will provide a range of fleet services spanning service, maintenance and repair, portfolio management, glass replacement, and pool vehicle/rental management for around 37,000 commercial vehicles.
Holman UK managing director Nick Caller said: “During this transformative period for our business, these appointments serve as a clear demonstration of our unwavering dedication to our customers.
“I have full confidence that as we attract even more new customers, their contributions will have a significant impact, guaranteeing the consistent delivery of excellent customer service to all of our clients, regardless of the number of vehicles they operate.”
Paul Probert added: “Holman is a company with a great reputation for doing the right thing. I am excited about leading the operations team and to create a step change in the capability of operational execution.”
Holman provides a range of services to the automotive industry including vehicle funding and fleet management.
Earlier this year it announced plans to create around 100 jobs as it continue to expand.
The firm started out as a single Ford dealership in New Jersey in 1924 and has since grown into a global leader in automotive services with more than 6,500 employees across North America, the UK and Germany.
