Bath Business News’ Expert Panel is to hold its first Expert Panel Breakfast next month, giving readers a chance to meet the people behind the weekly articles.

Taking place at Bath Racecourse on March 7, the event will hear from panel members Geometry PR, Mogers, Fidelius and Bath Racecourse.

Among topics already planned for discussion are:

* Why employee benefits that focus on mental wellbeing are of rising importance

* Internal communication – why it’s as important as external PR

* Communicating staff benefits, particularly to younger members of the workforce

* Why public relations is more than just media inches

* Why strong internal communications are vital if a business and its employees are to get the most out of employee benefits

* How to ensure a PR campaign matches the business’s goals.

* Lessons learnt since auto-enrolment was introduced in October

Bath Business News Editor Robert Buckland will give top tips on producing the perfect press release and how to get a story covered by the website.

The panel has covered topics as diverse as corporate hospitality, pensions, reputation management and the legal minefield of social media since its launch in November.

Each week a leading individual from four respected Bath businesses has given an expert view on a topical issue.

The event, between 8am-10am, is free to attend on a first come first served basis.

Bath Business News sister company Bath TV will film the event.
