Regional accountancy group Milsted Langdon’s growth in Bath has resulted in it moving to a larger office in the city.
The firm, which also has bases in Bristol, London, Taunton and Yeovil, opened an office on Bath’s Queen Square seven years ago.
Since then it has expanded its presence in the city and has now relocated to an office nearly double the size in nearby Queen Street.
The new office’s hot desk facilities meaning the team are joined regularly by colleagues from Milstead Langdon’s specialist teams including charity and not for profit, forensic accounting, insolvency and corporate finance, as well as Independent Financial Advisers from sister company Milsted Langdon Financial Services.
The firm also said the Bath office move would also allow it to accelerate recruiting new staff members and deliver more services to a larger client base in the city and the region beyond.
The Bath team is made up of general practice and audit partner Ian Lloyd, tax partner Rachael Verinder, and senior manager Dan Kenyon along with a small number of colleagues.
In total Milsted Langdon employs 21 partners and around 230 people across its five offices. It said growth had been spread in recent years across all its offices, with its Bristol base expanding last year.
Ian Lloyd, pictured, said: “We are very excited to move to our new offices and can’t wait to expand our team in the months and years to come.
“Bath is actually one of Milsted Langdon’s newest offices, where the firm has quickly embedded itself in the business community. We are proud to support and be part of this unique community and have built very strong connections with our local clients and contacts, which we look forward to developing from our new, larger office space.”
