Two of the largest airlines operating from Bristol Airport have put thousands of flights on sale for 2025 and 2026 as they look to tempt money-savvy holidaymakers with advance bookings.

Jet2 has launched its biggest-ever winter programme from Bristol, with more than 35 flights departing every week, while easyJet, the airport’s largest operator, has released its spring 2025 schedule with flights to nearly 80 destinations.

Meanwhile low-cost rival Ryanair is putting on a one-off flight from Bristol to Frankfurt Hahn ahead of England’s Euros 2024 match against Denmark on 20 June – one of a number of special services from UK airports linked to the game.

Jet2, which includes the Jet2.com and Jet2holidays brands, has put 13 winter sun destinations on sale from Bristol for winter 2025/26 to popular hotspots in the Canary Islands (Tenerife, pictured above, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura), Spain (Alicante and Malaga), Majorca (Palma), Portugal (Faro and Madeira), Turkey (Antalya), Malta, Cyprus (Paphos) and Morocco (Agadir).

The programme includes an expansion of its Morocco programme in response to strong demand ahead of its launch this October.

Additional capacity has also been added to its Tenerife route, and in total the programme represents over 35 departing weekly flights from Bristol Airport during peak periods.

Jet2, the first airline and major tour operator to put its winter 25/26 programme on sale, said the early release was in response to demand from holidaymakers in the South West “looking to lock some winter sun holidays into their diaries”.

The group, the UKs largest winter tour operator to the Canary Islands and Madeira, pictured, said the programme offered customers and independent travel agents more seats, choice and flexibility than ever before.

It also includes Jet2’s largest-ever selection of winter sun golf holidays, with packages that feature rounds at selected courses and hotel accommodation across the Canary Islands, Antalya, the Algarve and mainland Spain.

Jet2 will announce details of its ski, city breaks and Discover More Iceland programmes for Winter 25/26 from Bristol over the coming months too.

Jet2 CEO Steve Heapy said: “With a fantastic selection of hotspots to choose from, we are giving holidaymakers more choice and flexibility to enjoy some winter sunshine.

“By launching our winter sun programme for 25/26 nice and early, we are also providing holidaymakers with the chance to book ahead and lock in their getaway, while spreading the cost.

“With more people than ever wanting to swap the cold and rain of the UK in winter for some sunshine, we are expecting this new programme to sell quickly.”

Bristol Airport commercial director Rupert Lawrie added: “This decision by Jet2 to put on sale its biggest-ever programme to date shows a real indication of the strong demand by customers in the region wanting to look ahead, plan and secure their travel plans early.”

Hundreds of flights from Bristol between 3 March and 15 June next year are now on sale following the unveiling of easyJet’s spring 2025 schedule.

The airline, which is adding an 18th aircraft to its Bristol-based fleet this summer, said the schedule included nearly 80 destinations across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East – from “vibrant cities steeped in culture to pristine beaches and renowned adventure destinations”.

It also includes thousands more package holidays for spring 2025 available to book through easyJet holidays, with 7,000-plus hotels to choose from.

All packages including opportunities to change the booking, guaranteed best prices and refunds and thousands of free kids’ spaces.

EasyJet UK country manager Ali Gayward said: “We’re delighted to be putting our Bristol flights for spring 2025 on sale so our customers in the South West can book early and enjoy great value fares available from just £29.99 to a host of popular destinations across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.”

Ryanair’s flight to Frankfurt Hahn for the England-Denmark match, which is being played in Frankfurt’s Deutsche Bank Park stadium, leaves Bristol at 8.40am on 19 June, with the return flight 6.55pm on 21 June.
