The tax team at regional accountancy firm Milsted Langdon is in the running for a major award, having been shortlisted four times previously and winning it once.
It will line up as a finalist next month in the regional tax practice of the year category of the Tolley’s Taxation Awards.
Milsted Langdon, which has office in Bath, triumphed in the same category in 2016, having been shortlisted in 2011 and 2013. It was also a contender in 2019.
The prestigious Tolley’s Taxation Awards cover the whole of the tax profession, showcasing the best of the UK’s professional practices of all sizes, specialist and regional firms as well as those working in-house or in the public sector.
In total, 18 accolades will be presented at the awards ceremony at the Royal Lancaster London Hotel on 18 May.
Milsted Langdon is one of seven firms competing in the Best Tax Practice in a Regional Firm category, having been selected by a judging panel that evaluated its performance over the past year.
This included considering the complexity of the tax team’s work, exceptional client service and reputation in the South West and beyond.
The panel was also impressed by the firm’s growth and the expansion of some of its specialist services, including Stamp Duty Land Tax, VAT and Trusts and estate planning.
Milsted Langdon tax partner Rob Chedzoy, pictured, said: “We are thrilled that the Tolley’s Taxation Awards have chosen us as finalists for this award. It’s a fantastic acknowledgment for the whole tax and VAT team at the firm.
“We offer proactive and down-to-earth tax planning advice and compliance services to a diverse range of businesses and individuals across the region and further afield.”
Milsted Langdon offers a wide range of business services – from routine compliance matters to specialist tax advice and planning, corporate finance, business intelligence, insolvency, forensic accounting and mediation services – across its office network, which also includes Bristol, Taunton, Yeovil and London.
